Welcome to Riverside ELC
Play. Learn. Grow.
Riverside Early Learning Center, formerly known as Genesis Educational Center, is a happy place where children are encouraged to explore and discover new things by interacting with others every day. An important part of the preschool experience is learning through play — about sharing, working together, and making friends. Our teachers are sensitive to each child’s individual needs and provide a loving, caring environment. We pray before meals and encourage the children to pray for one another. We have Bible time, special guest speakers, field trips, arts & crafts, P.E., and library time enhance the learning experience.
We seek to show God’s love in everything we do and to develop a love for God in the heart of your child.
We seek to provide an environment that is inspiring and stimulating for your child at every developmental level, and to be a place where learning happens naturally.
We seek to partner with you to help your child develop a love of learning and a positive outlook about school.
We seek to guide your child to develop the early reading, writing, and socialization skills necessary to be successful once they reach kindergarten.
In a fun and Christ-centered environment, RELC seeks to nurture and stimulate the growth of children in these five areas of childhood development:
We foster the development of Christian values by helping each child experience God's love through Bible stories, prayer and music.
We facilitate the development of relationships characterized by caring, sharing and trust.
We encourage a positive self-image, a recognition of feelings and learning to exercise self control.
We stimulate growth and critical thinking in age appropriate academic subjects and seek to maintain a fun, non-competitive, setting.
We promote healthy eating and exercise habits, through the use of age appropriate developmental tasks and self-care.
