OUR PROGRAMS
Whether your child is 6 weeks old or 4 years old, Riverside Early Learning Center offers the quality Christian child care to all of our children using the Bright Beginnings Curriculum. Our curriculum, The Creative Curriculum is an eclectic approach that takes advantage of various educational methods. The Creative Curriculum is a supportive curriculum used by early childhood educators across the country, helping them provide children with developmentally appropriate programs that support active learning and promote progress in all developmental areas.
Infants
This peaceful classroom is specifically dedicated to the development, care, and enjoyment of your little one. The large room is fully equipped with all of the essentials necessary for your infant’s personal care. The daily schedule is designed to provide your child with consistency in meal times and naps, while still allowing time to have fun and learn new things. Our Creative Curriculum is designed to help your child discover and explore Language Arts, Music, Art, Movement, Science, Dramatic Play and Social Skills along with the discovery of fundamental milestones like sitting, crawling and walking. We also explore God’s amazing creation through our Bright Beginnings curriculum. In this class your child will learn and grow through music, movement, rhymes, and other hands-on activities. We have been blessed with a beautiful school facility that provides areas for outdoor fun, nature walks, and indoor recreation during inclement weather. Our experienced staff has a heart to serve not only your little one, but also to care and pray for the needs of your whole family. Our loving caregivers dedicate their time to ensuring your child is nurtured with loving and capable hands.
Toddlers
In our toddler room, your child will continue learning and growing with the Creative Curriculum as well as our faith-based Bright Beginnings curriculum. Your toddler will learn through exploration, using music, movement, rhymes, literacy cards, crafts, and more. Your child will be encouraged to take the next developmental steps physically, emotionally, and intellectually through hands-on learning.
Twos
Our Twos have colorful rooms designed for safety, movement, and creative and stimulating learning. The daily schedule includes free play, exercise time, organized instruction, and opportunities for individualized learning. The curriculum that we use, Creative Curriculum, is designed to help your child grow and develop in his/her language skills, social interactions, physical fitness, and cognitive abilities. There are safe and secure indoor and outdoor recreation areas for your child to run and play. We also explore God’s amazing creation daily through our Bright Beginnings curriculum. The goal each day is that you and your child will feel God’s love in the time that you spend with us.
Threes
Our Threes program promotes learning through a Christian curriculum that is both exciting and educational. Each day includes Bible, circle time, singing, playing games, and opportunities for creativity. Our teachers will pray with your child, teach Bible verses and songs, and encourage Christian virtues such as compassion, respect, and self-control. The use of technology is introduced and supervised with weekly instruction. The learning experience from our curriculum, Creative Curriculum, will help your child gain a better grasp of the fundamentals of language, develop new vocabulary, and improve his/her communication skills. The goal for your child is to gain the important developmental skills needed in the future. The teacher guided lessons as well as child initiated activities will provide a learning experience beyond conventional childcare programs. Language Arts, Science, Math, Social Studies, Music and Movement, Art and Library will encourage your child to explore new horizons.
Fours
Our Fours program will prepare your child for kindergarten with a Christian curriculum. Weekly themes will encourage your child to explore God’s world through music, games, Bible stories, dramatic play, science, and arts and crafts. Age-appropriate prayer and Bible verse activities will teach your child about God and His love for them. During free-play time, your child will enjoy independent exploration at learning centers focused on drama, science, art, housekeeping, and developing gross and fine motor skills. Overall, we seek to encourage the social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and intellectual growth and development of your child. The experiences from our curriculum, Creative Curriculum, will help your child gain a better grasp of the fundamentals of language, develop new vocabulary, and improve his/her communication skills. The goal for your child is to gain the important developmental skills needed for the introduction of reading and math in the future. The use of technology is also introduced and supervised with weekly instruction.
